Terms of sale - A florist Table Workshop

FEES 

Full payment of the course fees upon booking is required in order to secure your place. Places CANNOT BE RESERVED without FULL PAYMENT.

PAYMENT

Fees can be paid online, through our website. www.theposycrew.com.au or via a bank transfer (please contact us for account details)

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT

You must be at least sixteen years old at the time of booking. 

WORKSHOP CANCELATION AND TRANSFER POLICY

Cancellations must be made in writing by emailing hello@theposycrew.com.au at least 7 days before the workshop date to be eligible for a refund.

Requests to transfer your booking to another workshop must also be received in writing at least 7 days before the booked workshop date. Transfers are subject to availability.

Unfortunately, cancellation or transfer requests received within 7 days of the workshop cannot be processed.

Our workshops operate based on minimum participant numbers and flowers and materials are ordered in advance. This means we are unable to offer refunds or transfers for late cancellations, illness, personal circumstances or non-attendance.

Please note that workshops/classes have minimum attendance levels and may be cancelled if too few bookings are received.  We reserve the right to amend or cancel any of our workshops or classes.

If we cancel a workshop or class, we shall endeavour to give you at least one week’s notice.  You will have the option of transferring to another workshop or class or having a full refund of the fees, which we will return to you within 7 days.

We will not be liable for any losses (including, but not limited to, travel and accommodation costs) arising as a consequence of any modification or cancellation of workshops/classes or timetabling constraints as set out above, beyond the cost of the course fee. Please note that refunds can take up to 7 days to process.

MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT  

For our ‘FLOWER WORKSHOPS’, all equipment, materials and flowers are provided within the fees.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO  

You may take as many photographs of your OWN WORK as you wish during the workshop/class.

Please ask permission of other attendees before taking photographs of their work, or using their work on your website.

You are not permitted to take videos during tutor demonstrations.

The Posy Crew reserves the rights to take photographs/videos during the workshops/classes to use within our marketing. If you do not wish to appear in these, then please make the tutor aware of this at the start of the session.

HEALTH AND SAFETY  

Attendees are expected to follow Health and Safety guidelines that are given at the start of each workshop/class.

Attendees are asked to wear appropriate clothing and footwear during the course.

ALLERGIES

‘the posy crew’ cannot be held responsible for any medical issues arising from, but not limited to proximity contact, scent, physical contact or any other form of contact to any component, fresh, preserved or otherwise.

We sometimes provide refreshments on our workshops/classes.  Please make us aware of any food intolerances upon booking of your workshop/class. 

LIABILITY

By purchasing this course you agree to release The Posy Crew from all liability relating to injuries that may occur during their Floral Workshop and agree to hold The Posy Crew entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence. You also acknowledge the risks involved in their Floral Workshop and you are participating

voluntarily.  Additionally, you do not have any conditions that will increase the likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this activity. By purchasing this course you forfeit all right to bring a suit against The Posy Crew for any reason. In return, you will receive skills in constructing various Floral Arrangements.

PARKING is at owners risks. 

FORCE MAJEURE  

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance, in whole or part, of any of our obligations arising from or attributable to acts, events, omissions or accidents beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, strikes, lock-outs or other industrial disputes (whether involving our workforce or the workforce of any other party), act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, terrorism, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery or heating, lighting, air conditioning or telecommunications equipment, fire, flood, storm, pandemics, epidemics or other outbreaks of disease or infection, or failure in the external supply of electricity, water or telecommunications (including internet) connections.
